Snapper Creek Equity Management is a patient investor that works together with its portfolio companies to set the overall direction for growth and provides the appropriate supports to achieve it. We invest in companies with excellent management teams who have a vision for growth and have the capability, experience and determination to achieve it. Our approach to investing is distinct in that we do not believe that “one size fits all.” Each investment is unique. The evaluation and post investment strategy of each is different. As such, we support the growth of our portfolio companies in a variety of ways while bringing a strong culture of operating experience, business networking, entrepreneurial management, corporate governance, experience with add-on acquisitions and financial discipline to each portfolio company that is conducive to management teams performing to their full potential for the long-term profitable growth.

Snapper Creek Equity Management seeks to forge solid partnerships with the managements in our portfolio companies We provide them with resources and expertise in the areas of strategic planning and follow-on acquisitions, growth financing, a strong culture of corporate governance and financial discipline, the benefit of our collective operating experience starting and growing companies and our network of business contacts developed over many years, as well as direction and guidance on the timing and manner of eventual realizations and exits.

Snapper Creek’s senior management team has years of experience in a wide-ranging variety of industries and transaction types. Our flexibility and depth of experience in successfully completing different types of transactions enables us to meet the particular needs of each company. The senior management team has been involved in dozens of transactions, financings and investments over the years, earning them a reputation for supporting management and building companies. Our objective is to structure investments and transactions that are “win-win” for all parties involved. We also have access to the senior management and board of directors of our parent and related companies in the Woodbridge Holdings Corporation and BFC Financial family of companies.

We invest with a long-term perspective and typically have more flexibility on the nature and timing of exits and realizations than the conventional private equity investor. Investments may range from service to manufacturing businesses, from asset rich enterprises to those with few tangible assets but good potential cash flow. The industries in which we will invest are varied. The common thread is that we seek to invest in companies whose growth and development will benefit from the power that comes from a strong, stable, loyal and experienced investor. We believe in long-term, growth-oriented building of companies.

We look for friendly transactions that are supported by management who, ideally, co-invests alongside us. Many of our opportunities will come to us through our extensive network of business contacts and relationships rather than through a blind auction process.
